Well, I have to admit it to myself… I do not have the expertise or the money to put this monster back on the road. First things first: Righ now, the car has been off the road for just over a year. Right now, she doesn’t start – and I don’t have the knowlege to make her start. Other than that, she is in great nick! As seems to be the case with a lot of Surfs, she has just about every gadget available, with electric windows – front and back, electric tilt and slide sunroof, electric rear windscreen. She has air conditioning (although this might need recharging). The most important thing to remember about this vehicle, is that once you get over whatever problem is preventing it from starting (deisel gone bad/clogged fuel line?) it will go perfectly – it always did. The buyer must pick it up with some kind of transport, or a lot of mechanical experience! The only (and I really do mean only) reason I am selling her is that I cannot afford the time or the money involved in putting her back on the road and running her – She’s not a car for the credit crunch! Any questions – just ask. I’m no mechanic, but I will try my best to answer anything as openly and honestly as possible. Anyone who’s ever owned one knows the pain I’m feling at having to sell her! Happy bidding. PS – Yes that is a Kenwood Multichanger and amplifier for the sound system… They can come too….
