RANGE ROVER 4.6 HSE (LPG) RARE TOP OF THE RANGE VERSION OF THE ULTIMATE 4X4 The Range Rover has always been thought of as the “ULTIMATE 4X4″. “KING OF THE ROAD”. This auction is for a top of the range 4.6 HSE model which comes fully loaded with the desirable addition of an LPG system neatly housed under the boot floor (in the spare wheel recess). This Range rover has electronically adjustable gas suspension which adapts the cars ride height according to your driving requirements. A flick of a switch is all that is needed to transform this car from a luxurious limo to a serious off roader. At high speed the car also lowers itself to aid aerodynamics and on all settings the ride is nothing short of excellent. The suspension self levels should you want to use the vehicle for towing and as a bonus it already has a tow bar fitted – and enough power to pull a house down!! When it was new this car cost in excess of ?40,000 so as you can imagine it has a massive spec. To list the full specification of this amazing vehicle would take all day and there would still be stuff that I would have missed out or forgotten – so huge is the list. However I will try to be as thorough as possible in my description and I welcome any questions or viewings. I love this cars amazing presence both on and off the road. There are un-marked 18″ Hurricane Alloys (a ?2000 extra cost option when new!!) and chunky side steps which manage to look both rugged and sophisticated and help distinguish this cars high spec from inferior examples you may see. The Range Rover really must be viewed and driven to be fully appreciated. TEST DRIVE; The Range Rover feels more like a Bentley to drive than it does a typical 4×4. The car glides over road imperfections with ease, the distant burble of its V8 reminding you that you are piloting something rather special. This 1996 car drives superbly with seamless changes by the smooth auto box which has a “sport” mode should you want to unleash the full performance of the 221bhp V8. Ride and handling are superb and at speed the Range Rover squats down to give better aerodynamics and excellent stability and road holding. It is of course a big car but thanks to excellent visibility it is much easier to drive than you might expect. What the Range rover does perfectly is cosset you in luxury – The interior is more opulent than most gentleman?s clubs with soft leather seats with electric memory adjustment and lashings of wood trim. There is a huge centre arm rest which converts to a drinks tray and plenty of buttons to keep any gadget freaks entertained. The Digital climate control has two separate temperature controls for passenger and driver and there is a hugely powerful (and hugely expensive) Harmon Kardon sound system with CD multichanger mounted in the boot. Every journey is the big Range Rover has a sense of occasion. You will never tire of the opulence, grace and presence of one of the finest vehicles ever built…. SPECIFICATION – this a high spec HSE model; 221BHP 4.6 litre V8 Single-point LPG conversion with 90 litre ”doughnut” tank in spare wheel recess – Discreet exterior mounted filler. Minor scuffs and imperfections in keeping with the age and mileage of this car- All in all excellent condition though. Very minor cracking of the leather on the drivers seat in keeping with the age and mileage of the car. Onboard computer reports a fault on the rear window when you first start her up - This has obviously been the case for sometime as it was investigated on one of the service receipts and there was no fault found. LCD display for the stereo system is not working although this does not effect the operation of the stereo. ?200 deposit required at end of auction. Then the remaining balance in CASH on collection MANY THANKS FOR LOOKING AND GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BIDDING?car reg is: P947 PLO I WILL ACCEPT ?2750 FOR CAR NOW SO GRAB A BARGAIN.
