MAZDA MX5 EUNOS 1.8 AUTO HARD & SOFT TOP IMMACULATE @ MX 5

  Having been persuaded to sell my Mx-5 Icon to a friend a couple of years ago, and since regretted parting with it, I decided to purchase another Mx and looked at many before buying this one which had just arrived from Japan and had obviously been extremely well looked after. Cosmetically the car is near immaculate for a vehicle of this age, no dents, scratches or sign of any rust, totally unmarked. The soft top is in excellent condition with a clear & uncrazed rear window.The carpet and seats are as new, the former being covered with a set of genuine overmats, probably from new. The hardtop is unmarked & fitted with heated rear window. Just to be on the safe side I had the camshaft belt renewed and the water pump renewed at the same time ? this being good practice as it is logical to carry this out whilst the engine is stripped down. Front brake pads were renewed. Interior has a Nardi wooden steering wheel & handbrake handle. Fitted with 16? alloy wheels and alloy sill steps. Electric windows, mirrors etc. etc. I also had a stainless grill fitted, central locking fitted and the speedometer altered to read in mph. At this service the car was thoroughly checked over by a Mazda specialist garage who advised me that the chassis underneath was in excellent condition, one of the best they had seen. This is always reassuring to hear with a car of this age, but then, I think many Japanese look after their vehicles like a member of the family!! The engine is exceptionally clean with no leaks. This car has done 87500 miles from new, warranted & certificated although, from it?s appearance, it looks more like 8000 miles! Everything works on this car aircon, heated rear hardtop window, radio/cd player etc etc. I did not specifically set out to buy an automatic but having had many autos in the past I was very impressed with this particular system incorporating the side push button for an instant change if you prefer not to use the ?kick-down? facility which makes for relaxed driving.(particularly for me as a septuagenarian!) The tyres are new all round and the spare unused.  It is all ready to go for a season?s motoring. I fully intended to keep this as a second car and so had everything done that I could think of; however due to changed circumstances I now find that reluctantly I shall have to part with this car to some other lucky person.
