Originally believed from the isle of wight and brought to mainland in 1977 ,this Cortina is very original throughout ,even down to the radio .
The mileage recorded is 17,000 miles but that is not warrantied ,its possible its done more as ive no history to support this
The Car has been off the road since 2006 as i have tax discs for the last three years around this time ,sadly due to a shunt at the rear .
This is all very easy to repair and because the main shell is solid is well worth doing .
The other thing to note is the damage is unrecorded and the car is hpi clear .
Being an auto the transmission tunnel is larger than a manual one ,so if you intend a zetec or similar this may help .
The pre accident condition is very good with the front wings and doors only having surface rust ,all perfectly restorable
Both back arch wheel arches need some work and a o/s/f/ jacking point along with some minor repairs to the front panel where someone has winched it out of storage !
Top mounts are ok and engine bay is very rot free
The car is sold as seen ,i havent had it running and the tyres need replacing due to storage ,its doesnt drive and you wont be able to drive it home !
I can deliver it to you locally subject to a nominal fee and or recovery charges.
Its had a paint job in the past and i guess two front wings at some point , its very solid and has been extensively rustproofed underneath from new – see photos
