2000 VOLVO V70 CLASSIC BLACK @ V70

Oct 26th, 2009 | Category: Volvo
Up for sale is my trusty V70 classic. This was one of the last of the classic shapes and as such is fully loaded spec wise.

Black with dary grey leather interior.
16 inch Perfo alloys
Pirelli P6000 tyres all round 4-5mm of tread.
2.4 20v petrol – 140bhp
Manual
Heated seats

Mileage is 195,000. No stamped service history but Volvo did have records of it being serviced up to 70k. I purchased the car a little over two years ago at 116,000. Without having any history I had the cam belt changed anyway and this has been done again at 180k. Cars been serviced by myself since with oil and filter changes every 6k. Engine and gearbox still going strong.  ETM  was replaced by Volvo at around 150k.
Very occasionally – 4 times in the last 50k, she won’t iddle from starting on the first start. Switch off, remove key and started the second time everytime. No idea why but can’t be anything major.

Volvo strut brace fitted. Polybush top engine mount. Polybush front wishbones. Brake pads and disc’s replaced all round at 140k.

Body work in good condition for age and mileage. A few stone chips on bonnet. Couple of parking dings in the doors – nothing too major. Has had a slight bang to the rear bumper at some stage which has left a small ripple in the bumper itself. Trim on the inside of rear door has come loose. Clips have snapped – have the new clips but not got around to fitting them!

Drives well and only selling as I was offered a V70 mk2 D5 at a crazy price.
Getting high mileage but a great car for someone who’s not doing 4k a month like me!
