FOR SALE – MERCEDES A160 automatic – silver – 68000miles This is a fantastic little car and have had it for two years now and I have decided that as my daughter is now older I would like a 2 seater type car – ie Mazda MX5!!! I taxed the vehicle for six months at the beginning of July and the MOT is due in August 2009. I have decided to offer this vehicle for sale pre-MOT (I have no doubt that it will pass an MOT – last year it sailed through only needing one bulb replacing) but wish to purchase a Mazda MX5 asap and my savings do not stretch to cover an MOT for this car also!!!!! A few weeks back the vehicle went into ‘F’ mode and I took this to a registered Mercedes mechanic and was advised that maybe a Gear Recognition Module may be necessary in the future (apparently common fault in these cars over certain mileage). This has not happened again. I have obtained a price for this at ?260 – this and the imminent end of MOT reflects the selling price of this vehicle. There are two small scratches on the driver’s front wing which was caused by another vehicle while my car stationary. Interior very clean. Non-smoker. Back seats can be moved forwards and backwards and can be folded to create larger area boot space. The car is excellent on fuel and if it were not for the fact that I am desperate for a two seater Mazda I would keep the vehicle myself.
