VAUXHALL ASTRA TDS 1.7 Turbo Diesel 1997
I have owned this car since August last year, it has been super reliable -
I do 140 miles a day but now the alternator has packed it in –
so its time for it to go to a new home, as I do not have the time to get it fixed.
Car was running fine and has been well serviced in its time. Constantly got 50 mpg so very economical.
High mileage but drives fine, has alloys, sunroof ( manually tilts or slides ), front electric windows, driver airbag,
body is all in good nick, but paint fading in some areas.
Interior is all Ok, there is a cigarette burn in the drivers seat.
Electrics are all fine – but the rear window wiper is not working correctly.
Car is currently not charging due to the alternator ( I think ), but it will start on the battery and you can drive home in it.

Front tyres will need replacing soon, an alternator, other than that, it should run and run.
Car has 1 month MOT ( till 27th July 2009 ) and 6 months tax till 31/12/2009.
