RE ADVERTISED DUE TO COMPLETE TIME WASTER WHO AFTER WINNING AUCTION CONTACTED ME TO SAY THAT HE HAD BOUGHT ANOTHER CAR EARLIER THAT DAY AND DIDN’T NEED THE WON HE HAD BID ON AND WON THROUGH EBAY. CASE REPORTED! SO ONCE AGAIN….. Selling on behalf of parents. Ford Fiesta SX 1300cc. Owned from new by my mother. MOT expires 20th September 2009, Taxed until end July 2009. Bodywork reasonable for age. Rust showing in usual places eg rear wheel arches. Never been in an accident or had body work / welding. Paintwork lacquar on bonnet peeling off. Interior tidy. Things wrong / missing: Rear wiper doesn’t work (requires replacing), NS door mirror missing, OS door mirror mechanism failed and is “floopy” NS front hub cap missing. Car is sold as seen and is being sold as parents have bought a new ford to replace it. Engine fully serviced 5,000 miles ago. Has been standing for last three months and hence battery flat but starts easily enough with jump leads. Collection only – from North West Leicestershire (Ashby de-la Zouch). I have been asked for more details / photos of the cars general condition. Please see additional photos uploaded. The whole car needs a good wash and clean. The interior needs hoovering and the plastic dash etc dusting. The boot as you can see shows no signs of rust etc. Under the bonnet is solid but dirty and would benefit from a jet wash. The radio also has a cassete player. The Passenger seat lifting mechanism is broken so the seat won’t move forward to allow access to the rear seat but is safe, legal and passed MoT like this for last 5 years. The drivers seat work fine so access to rear seats is via drivers side only. I have been specifically asked about the sills. Looking at them the passenger side looks all ok. The drivers side is showing rust blisters, but these are surface and have not gone into holes. Not sure what more info I can provide, but happy to answer questions as they are asked of me. Happy bidding Chrism .
