BMW 318IS E30 MTEC   Up for auction is my much loved BMW 318 is as many of you already know this is a much sought after model that is becoming rare by the day, it is also the non sunroof version. I have not owned the car for long but have enjoyed every moment, unfortunately due to owning another car one had to go as running both of them has become very unpractical. The previous owner was a real enthusiast and therefore came from a great home previously to myself owning it. Since I have owned it the car has given me nothing but a huge grin across my face. Although the car does have a couple of rust patches overall its not to bad and luckily being the non sunroof one its a hell of a lot less prone to rusting and leaking like a sieve. The car overall is in fairly good condition with a great spec to match as the previous owners have spent lots of money on her making her a little different from most E30′s that you see with some subtle but tasteful modifications. The car has the following: Lowered 60mm all around Powerflow stainless steel exhaust Drilled vented discs on the front Black headlining and door cards Mtec II replica door pods and rear spoiler Mtec I Genuine steering wheel Colour coded front and back bumper trims IS front splitter IS Recaro Style interior complete with headrests Sports Clutch Please note the car does not come with the Alpina wheels that are shown in the pictures, will come with the original BBS wheels complete with centre caps. The car has 9 months M.O.T and 3 months Tax, was also serviced at the same time of M.O.T. Although the vehicle is mechanically sound there is a small oil leak from the front of the engine, when I bought the car it had a large oil leak fixed that and then found there was also a smaller one but never got round to fixing it. Otherwise the car pulls very well and always starts, occasionally the starter motor coughs a little. There is a tear on the drivers side seat and there is the usual crack on the top of that dash that you find on every E30, but apart from that the inside is in fairly good condition. The only thing I would have to say that is negative about the car is the bodywork from where the aftermarket Mtec bits have been fitted, but again this is not a major thing you could either choose remove it, refit it or just live with it as I have done as it does not affect the cars driving and the car still looks good in my opinion. There is a crack on the drivers side skirt but this is only plastic, easily fixed with a little fibreglass. Please note the car comes with a black bonnet not the red one. Just remembered the central locking does not work on the drivers side but works perfectly on the boot or the passengers side. No matter where I go this car really turns heads its a real eye catcher, I would love to keep it and spend the money on it but unfortunately I own too many cars and trying to keep 2 on the road at the same time is proving to be far too expensive. Whoever wins this car will have plenty of fun!!! This exact model was recently published in Performance Car magazine as the 318is has been named the perfect first performance car and first front engine rear wheel drive car as it can be a great learning curve into the abilities of rear wheel drive. Under ownership of the previous owner the car was reversed into in a car park, although the damage was minimal with a wing, front light and bonnet the insurance company made it a Cat C however it was fixed within half an hour and VIN checked by the DVLA. I have proof of certificate and photo of the damage. Should you wish to view the car please do not hesitate to contact me but please no test pilots serious buyers only.
