This vehicle has been relisted due to the private sale sale falling through. This vehicle was imported from Switzerland in 1986 although its year of manufacture was 1981. The mileage has been converted from kilometres and it is a great colour. In the half light a beautiful orange colour far better than red in my opinion. The interior is excellent apart from the drivers seat where some where is evident. No elecronic windows to fail, but instead simple wind down/up type. The bottom of the doors need attention as does the auto box which means that although it does travel at speed, some slippage is evident. A typical recondiotned auto box would serve this vehicle well. ?700 worth of top quality professional welding has made this vehicle roadworthy and the chrome is in above acerage condition. The wrap around chrome bumpers and chrome air vents set the 280e apart from the 230e with its plastic bumper ends. A great car and I hope it has a good home . I prefer serious bidders and not those who bid and then at the twelfth hour seemingly recognise their apparent dyslexia of figures when entering bids “?1250 was wrongly entered as ?1520″…...
